ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:
The Knot Worldwide is looking for Sales Executives to join our team in Galway. The day-to-day role responsibilities include building relationships with US based business owners, advising them on how best advertising on The Knot to help market their business, managing a sales pipeline using our CRM, making a series of both warmer and colder sales calls, and maintaining your customer funnel to maximise opportunities and move them through the pipeline.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets as well as daily activity expectations
Successfully manage a sales pipeline from start to finish
Make a high volume of sales calls on a daily basis
Be persistent - consistently follow up with potential clients to negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
Ability to organize work day and be proactive with time management
Track notes on all interactions and keep opportunities in your pipeline up to date in the CRM
Collaborate with other team members including those in other departments
SUCCESSFUL SALES EXECUTIVE CANDIDATES HAVE:
1+ years experience in a similar role, or, if you don’t have experience you must possess great interpersonal skills, a target-driven nature, and be keen to learn & grow your career in the world of sales.
Strong analytical skills to identify trends, understand challenges, propose solutions and evaluate results.
Confidence and enthusiasm when presenting information to decision makers
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong ability to engage and persuade
Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills
Proven success in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and competitive team environment
Ability to work independently, as well as be a collaborative team member
Experience with Salesforce or another CRM system
WORK MODEL:
This role is based in our Galway office. To support onboarding and team integration, you’ll work onsite five days a week for the first 3 months. After this initial period, the standard schedule will transition to a hybrid model of three in-office days per week - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The working hours will be 1pm to 9:30pm to align with a US schedule.
