As a Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will manage a section of the kitchen, prepare and cook food to order, and contribute to menu development and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.Manage a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all food is prepared on time and to the correct specifications.Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring they are trained to deliver high-quality food and adhere to hygiene and safety standards.Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to plan and develop menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and local produce.Ensure that kitchen areas and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and comply with health and safety regulations.Monitor and manage food inventory levels, ensuring stock is rotated and used efficiently to minimize waste.Support the Head Chef in maintaining kitchen budgets, controlling food costs, and ensuring financial targets are met.Assist in the training and development of kitchen staff, providing mentorship and fostering a positive team environment.Adhere to the hotel's policies and procedures, ensuring all kitchen activities are carried out safely and professionally.Key Requirements:Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-end hotel or restaurant.Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen operations.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.A passion for food and creativity with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.A formal culinary qualification (City & Guilds, Le Cordon Bleu, or equivalent) is desirable.Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.What We Offer:Competitive salary with opportunities for career progression within a growing hotel.Staff meals and uniforms provided.A supportive and collaborative working environment.Discounted accommodation and dining at the Heights Hotel.Opportunities for training and development, both in-house and externally.Job Type: Full-timePay: €34,000.00-€37,444.83 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingWork Location: In person
