Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Locum Consultant Anaesthesiologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality anaesthetic services across perioperative, critical care, and emergency settings while supporting patient safety, clinical excellence, and collaborative care.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver consultant-level anaesthetic care for elective and emergency surgical procedures.
Participate in perioperative assessment and management of patients.
Provide support for critical care, trauma, obstetric, and acute pain services as required.
Supervise and support junior medical staff and trainees.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with HSE policies and procedures.
Participate in on-call rotas where applicable.
Essential Requirements
Specialist registration in Anaesthesiology with the Irish Medical Council or eligibility for specialist registration.
Fellowship of the College of Anaesthesiologists of Ireland, Royal College of Anaesthetists, or equivalent recognised qualification.
Proven experience working at Consultant level in Anaesthesiology.
Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Criteria
Experience in intensive care medicine, obstetric anaesthesia, or pain management.
Previous experience within the Irish healthcare system or comparable public health service.
Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence.
