Responsibilities:
* Follow established experimental protocols and assess results with supervision, ensuring precision and reliability.
* Recognise and report experimental variances, taking corrective action when necessary.
* Learn and effectively implement new experimental protocols and techniques, optimising laboratory operations for efficient use of time and resources.
* Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation, and apply basic scientific principles to research.
* Analyse and critique results, noting significant deviations and proposing improvements.
* Demonstrate technical proficiency in bioassay, cell culture, and ELISA techniques, modifying protocols as required.
* Understand and adhere to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, and handling of materials, controlled substances, and radioactive compounds.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, typically 6-12 months experience, or Master's Degree or equivalent education.
* Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job function, including GMP experience and expertise in procurement, shipping, and sample management.
* Ability to work independently, think critically, and communicate effectively.
