The successful candidate will help us with business problems that require machine learning training to get automated.
We're looking for someone who is highly autonomous, strives in ambiguous situations and has multi-year hands on experience in building Ml solutions.
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure.

We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

Key job responsibilities An Applied scientist on the team is expected to guide Network software teams on building ML solutions to solve business problems that couldn't be solved with just software development.
They need to deliver projects and interact with cross functional teams to understand their needs and use existing AI solutions or build a new ML solutions to automate their business problems.
A day in the life Daily activities for this role will also include driving designs for components/solutions that deliver new features and capabilities using AI/ML, preparing estimates for upcoming deliverables, document proposed solutions, reviewing code of other members, writing well structured and optimized code, performing root cause analysis on operational events, providing project updates to leadership and other team members.
This position involves on-call responsibilities.
As part of this team you will:· Drive the AI and ML agenda for the DRES teams to shape the automation future in Networking.· Partner with Network Engineers to collect needed data sets required to train Use and develop tools, services and processes that collect and rationalize data from different sources.· Participate in an on call rotation with your team to support the software developed.· Identify and troubleshoot recurring platform issues with effective escalation to senior-level engineering teams.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 6+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML systems in production.- Masters degree in Computer Science, ML, or related field.- Experience of the programming languages Python or R, C++, Java.- Proven portfolio of solving business problems through building ML solutions.- Experience in influencing software teams to adopt AI/ML.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Ph D, or Master's degree in ML or related field experience.- Experience in RAG/Graph-RAG.
