Lead Audit Consultant
The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the planning and execution of comprehensive audit engagements. This includes:
* Delivering a high-quality, in-depth audit service to clients with minimal supervision.
* Providing detailed reports on audit findings and identifying potential issues that may impact the client's business.
* Preparing financial statements and presenting high-quality work papers that meet the highest standards.
* Closing all queries raised by senior colleagues regarding audit work papers in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in auditing and accounting, including:
* At least 5 years of practice experience gained in a small/medium practice in Ireland or the UK, with 2+ years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
* Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
* Sound computer literacy of Excel, MS Word, and computer-based auditing/accounting systems.
* Experience in supervising junior staff members on audit assignments and mentoring them to excel in their roles.
Additionally, the successful candidate should possess excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, as well as the ability to work independently and develop their career in practice.
