BBSF is a complete metalwork solution and is looking for a full-time Factory Metal Fabricator to join our team. Responsible for fabricating metal components and structures by accurately interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications; operating various machinery and tools, such as shears, presses, drills, saws, and welders, to cut, shape, and assemble metal pieces; measuring and mark dimensions on metal materials to ensure precise cutting and bending; using various techniques like welding, grinding, bolting, and riveting to join metal pieces and create finished products; maintaining and operating machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in proper working order; inspecting fabricated products to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements; collaborating with the production team to ensure sufficient supply of materials and timely completion of projects; following safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to maintain a safe working environment; keeping accurate records of materials used, work completed, and production time; troubleshooting and resolving any issues or defects in fabricated products. Candidates must have proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication setting; strong knowledge of metalworking techniques and various fabrication processes; skilled in operating a range of machinery, excellent welding skills; attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work; good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues; knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work in compliance with health and safety regulations.Job Type: Full-timePay: €19.00 per hourExperience:metal fabrication: 5 years (preferred)Language:English (preferred)Licence/Certification:Manual Handling Certificate (preferred)Abrasive Wheels Certificate (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Location:DUBLIN 11, CO.
