Part Time Care Assistant/Support Worker
We are currently recruiting for Part Time Care Assistants/Support Workers to join our team working across residential and respite services.

We are a community based voluntary provider of services for adults and children with an intellectual disability and/or autism in Waterford City and County.
We are registered charity, with a voluntary Board of Directors, and are fully funded by the Health Service Executive.
Our mission is to provide high quality care and support to individuals with an intellectual disability and/or autism, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.
Job Description
As a Part Time Care Assistant/Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to individuals with an intellectual disability and/or autism.
You will work a minimum of 120 hours per 4 weeks and will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing person-centred care and support to individuals with an intellectual disability and/or autism
* Assisting individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation and household chores
* Supporting individuals to participate in recreational and educational activities
* Implementing care plans and conducting reviews
* Supporting individuals with medication management
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A minimum of QQI Level 5 in Health Care/Social Care or similar qualification
* 1+ years' experience working as a Care Assistant (ID experience preferable)
* Full Clean Drivers Licence
