About The Role:
General
The Aviation training department's primary responsibility is for the Management and delivery of all PRM and Airport Authority mandatory training in Dublin, Cork and Belfast International Airports. The role of the Training Officer would be to work as part of the OCS Aviation Training team in the Administration and delivery of QHSE and Aviation compliance training material to all OCS Aviation Services personnel.
The successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive professional development program, to enable then to deliver and administrate all relevant aspects of QHSE and Aviation compliance training in a confident and compliant manner.
Principal duties
Assist in the administration of all training files, matrix's and records.
Ensuring compliance with Airport Authority by monitoring and updating all mandatory course results to Airport authority systems. (BSAT, Airside safety, apron driving)
Assist in the drafting and administration of all compliance documents. (Standard operating procedures, risk assessments, etc)
Assist in the delivery of all relevant training material.
Assist the OCS Aviation Management team when undergoing audits from the Airport Authorities and/or Airlines.
Conduct on the job training assessments with current staff.
Assist the OCS Aviation Training team in all other duties that arise relevant to any other OCS contracts undertaken.
Qualities
Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative
Ability to work within a team and company structure.
Prior training experience preferable but not essential.
Prior Administration experience preferable but not essential.
Ability to speak, read and write English effectively.
Ability to work within a fast paced and busy environment.
Good communicator, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with persons at all levels within the Airport and company.
Basic knowledge of:
* Word
* Excel
* PowerPoint
Full, clean driver licence required.
Upskilling
