YOU'LL GET A CHANCE TO:
* Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (including sliding head Swiss-type lathes) to manufacture precision medical devices, particularly for orthopaedic and spinal components.
* Optimise CNC programs and processes to achieve production efficiency while maintaining the highest quality standards.
* Collaborate on process development for new and complex components, working closely with engineering teams.
* Work with a range of advanced materials, including titanium and medical-grade alloys, ensuring precise selection for each project.
* Continuously improve manufacturing techniques, leveraging your expertise in precision engineering to meet evolving client needs.
* Take ownership of projects, ensuring production goals are met and maintaining strong client satisfaction.
* Maintain excellent workshop standards, ensuring equipment and tools are in optimal condition.
* Contribute to the development and manufacturing of custom prototypes and batch production with precision and reliability.
WHAT WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED:
Required:
* 5 years' experience in a similar CNC programmer/ setter/ operator type role.
* Hands-on experience with Swiss-type sliding head machines (e.g., Citizen, Star, or Tornos)
* Experience in programming and setting is desirable.
