You will ensure products meet the highest quality standards while contributing to the smooth and consistent running of the production line.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Set up production machinery in accordance with schedules, product specifications, and quality standardsTake ownership of production line performance, ensuring targets for output, quality, and efficiency are consistently achievedMonitor and record downtime, productivity issues, and quality variances, taking proactive steps to minimise lossesCarry out in-process checks to ensure stable and reliable machine performanceTest finished products and accurately document results in approved quality recordsCoordinate daily activities of team members to maintain a seamless workflowMaintain an organised and clean working environment, applying 5S principles at all timesAdhere strictly to all Health and Safety policies and promote safe working practicesQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:Minimum 3 years' experience operating machinery in an industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience within a medical device, pharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environment is highly advantageousStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production processesPERSON SPECIFICATION & COMPETENCIES:Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to qualityStrong problem-solving ability with a proactive mindsetExcellent reliability, punctuality, and time-management track recordAbility to work independently and take initiative when neededREPORTING LINE:Reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
