Electrical Team Lead Job Description
This is a key airfield leadership position that empowers a team of craft technicians to deliver airfield operations by championing maintenance excellence and monitoring equipment at Dublin Airport.
The role is shift based (24/7), with 12-hour shifts across a 4-week cycle, from morning to evening and night to morning.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance Oversight: Ensure vigilant oversight and maintenance of Airfield and relevant campus systems in adherence with regulatory compliance.
* Technical Guidance: Work closely with the wider airfield asset management leadership team to provide technical guidance, support services, efficiencies, continuous improvement initiatives and ideas.
* Team Performance: Champion your team's optimal performance by upholding Quality Assurance Standards, managing schedules, attendance and leave, PRP sessions, health and safety adherence and fostering a culture of continuous personal and professional growth.
* Shift Reports: Deliver quality shift reports via relevant systems.
* Critical Asset Inspections: Lead critical asset inspections and health checks of systems, ensuring minimum KPI achievement and availability targets of assets are met.
* Support and Guidance: Provide support, guidance and updates to other departments and key stakeholders as required during shifts.
* Health and Safety: Actively promote health and safety and safe working practices amongst all Asset Management staff.
* Site Supervision: Provide site supervision of Asset Management maintenance contractors working on DAP assets, ensuring safe and efficient operations and challenging non-conformance where needed.
* CMMS Management: Take full responsibility for the use of CMMS, ensuring staff create and maintain asset history and compliance records to support effective management of the Airfield systems including inventory use.
* Emergency Response: Lead your team with support of emergency plans/events in Dublin Airport, including tasks such as the safe recovery of disabled aircraft, emergency boundary fence repairs, snow clearing from AGL, signage, and associated systems, and contractor escorting during emergency winter events.
