We are Hiring Staff Nurse- Emergency Department for our Hospital client in Dublin. Permanent Contract Full time 37.5 hours per week Responsibilities
* Using assessment skills and strategies to determine the patient's needs during admission.
* Thorough and accurate documentation of nursing admission assessments.
* Continuously assess the patient's condition.
* Clearly state the patient problems for which nursing care will be provided.
* Create and document a treatment plan based on patients' needs and best practices.
* Update the care plan, whether written or computerised.
* Provide care under minimum supervision in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
* Maintain a safe atmosphere for all patients, visitors, and staff.
* Advocate as needed for the patients, preserving their dignity and confidentiality.
* Function efficiently in an emergency.
* Adapt to changing workloads.
Requirements
* Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI and hold a current NMBI PIN (essential)
* Possess two years of experience working in an acute hospital setting after registering (important)
* Have worked in an emergency department in the UK or Ireland for at least one year. (crucial)
* Possess a valid emergency nursing course or certification. (preferred)
* Possess demonstrated clinical and professional skills
* Possess strong IT abilities and be adept at using all pertinent apps.
* Have outstanding interpersonal and organizational abilities and be a great communicator.
* Proficiency in both written and spoken English
* Approach working patterns with flexibility
* Demonstrated capacity to function well in a multidisciplinary team
