About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Manufacturing Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of functions associated with wafer production, including operations, equipment maintenance and repair, and process control.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform tasks related to all stages of wafer production, from initial processing to final packaging.
* Maintain and repair equipment, troubleshoot issues, and reduce defects to meet Fab objectives.
* Work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings, schematics, and verbal instructions to utilize various tools, test equipment, and problem-solving techniques.
Requirements
1. National Framework Qualification (NFQ) L6/L7 in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
2. At least 3 years of experience in technical/semiconductor/pharmaceutical/biomedical/medical device manufacturing or highly regulated environments.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work well in a team environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
4. Able to work with minimal supervision, produce results in a timely manner, and drive inclusion, diversity, and culture change within the team.
Preferred Experience
* Experience in performing hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance on Semiconductor equipment.
* Demonstrated skills to influence spec development, procedure creation, and business process improvement related to equipment maintenance.
* Knowledge of process control systems, vacuum systems, precision mechanical equipment, and RF systems.
* Commitment to travel for varying durations depending on business needs.
