Senior Project Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our client, a research-based biopharmaceutical company, in their mission to develop and commercialise innovative medicines and treatments for various diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Oversee project execution throughout the life cycle, from initiation to closeout.
* Front End Studies: Conduct user studies to determine the most suitable technical solution and create Business Cases, Budgets, and schedules for CAPEX Funding applications.
* Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Qualification: Manage these phases of the project effectively.
* Cross-Functional Team Management: Lead client project teams comprising multiple disciplines.
* Project Scheduling and Cost Control: Regularly report to key stakeholders on project progress and costs.
* Change Management: Capture, document, and assess all project changes.
* Safety Culture: Ensure a strong safety culture is maintained during capital project execution.
* Project Validation: Execute validation processes as required.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
* Client-Side Capital Projects Experience: Proven experience working in a client-side capital projects execution role.
* Electronic Change Management Systems: Familiarity with client electronic change management systems and full end-to-end project lifecycle.
* Team and Project Management: Experience managing cross-functional teams and projects in a GMP manufacturing environment.
* Environmental, Health, and Safety: Understanding of environmental, health, and safety requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
* cGMP Knowledge: Strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
* Project Management Process: Understanding of the project management process, including programming, scope development, design development, implementation, and project closeout.
