Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at The Dropping Well.
This is an exciting opportunity for a chef looking to step up in a busy, dynamic kitchen, working with quality ingredients and a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee your assigned section of the kitchen, ensuring readiness for service
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the restaurant's high standards
Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation across all plates
Train, guide, and supervise commis chefs and junior staff within your section
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu planning and specials
Uphold HACCP, food hygiene, and safety standards at all times
Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and assist with inventory management
Keep your station and kitchen areas clean, organised, and service-ready
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a busy kitchen
Creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail in food preparation
Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy service periods
Previous experience in Ireland preferred
Fluent English and references essential
