The successful candidate will be expected to use their existing skillset and develop new skills to:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targetsManager key accounts and identify and pursue new sales opportunitiesWork closely with engineering and operations teams to develop customer proposalsTake a lead role in customer meetings and presentations.Maintain accurate records of customer opportunities, and sales activities in Pipedrive CRM.Attend major exhibitions and trade shows.Review and improve existing sales processes to enable the sales team to focus on winning business for the Company.Support prospecting and market research initiatives as required.The PersonDegree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent technical discipline.5+ years of experience in technical sales or a similar role.Experience managing international key accountsGood understanding of mechanical engineering products and specifications.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with CRM software is a plus.Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.Delivery on commitments.Requirement for travel.An ability to work independently and operate in a team environment.Must have permission to work in Ireland.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits.Flexible working and leave arrangements.Work-life balance.Career progression opportunities
