And right now, we're looking for a **Senior Associate, Public Affairs & Market Development** to help shape how Lloyd's Europe engages with Ireland and the wider European market.This role puts you right at the centre of regulatory, governmental and market conversations that matter.
You'll represent one of the world's most recognised insurance brands and help ensure Lloyd's Europe is heard, understood and respected.
**What you'll be part of**You'll join a small, highly engaged team in Dublin, working closely with the **Ireland Country Manager**, senior Lloyd's Europe leaders and our **EU Public Affairs and Market Development teams**.
Together, you'll support the Lloyd's Europe operating model and help deliver the **European Market Strategy**, with links to the London (re)insurance market.This is a visible role.

**What you'll do**You'll focus on what matters most.
And do it well.
That includes:* Supporting strategic engagement with the **Central Bank of Ireland**, Irish government departments, regulators, insurers, brokers and trade bodies.
* Helping manage and respond to regulatory and supervisory requests from the CBI and other Irish authorities.
* Monitoring regulatory and policy developments that affect Lloyd's Europe's trading rights—and helping advocate for sustained or improved access to the Irish market.
* Maintaining local regulatory formalities, including updates to Irish business registers, to protect Lloyd's Europe's freedom of establishment licence.
* Coordinating internal and external communication on regulatory developments, working with outsourced providers and industry stakeholders.
* Supporting key regulatory change projects, including compliance activities, regulatory returns and data collections.
* Contributing to regional initiatives with Corporate & Legal and Market Development colleagues across Europe.
* Supporting legal and regulatory horizon scanning and contributing to tools such as the Crystal regulatory tool.
* Helping unlock opportunities to strengthen Lloyd's voice in Europe, particularly by leveraging Ireland's connections with the London market.

**What you'll bring**We're open-minded about background.

But you'll likely bring:* Experience working in or alongside regulatory, compliance, policy or supervisory environments.
* Knowledge of Ireland's insurance regulatory environment and how it works in practice.
* An understanding of EU policymaking and, ideally, EU insurance or financial services regulation* Experience working in or alongside regulatory, compliance, policy or supervisory environments.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills and confidence building relationships with credibility and integrity.
* Clear, persuasive communication skills, including the ability to present ideas simply and effectively.
* Comfort working across cultures, teams and disciplines in a collaborative environment.Experience engaging directly with the **Central Bank of Ireland or Irish authorities** is a plus—but not essential.Because here, **you have a voice**.
