Job Description – Spray Painter ApprenticePosition Title: Spray Painter ApprenticeDepartment: Production / WorkshopReports To: Spray Painting Supervisor / Production Manager⸻Role OverviewThe Spray Painter Apprentice will support the painting team in preparing, finishing, and restoring surfaces using spray-painting techniques. This role is designed for someone who is eager to learn the trade, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills in spray-painting, surface preparation, and workshop maintenance.⸻Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in preparing surfaces (sanding, cleaning, masking, priming) prior to painting.Mix paints and materials under supervision, ensuring correct ratios and finishes.Operate and clean spray-painting equipment safely and correctly.Support qualified painters in applying coatings to furniture, equipment, and other items.Help with workshop upkeep — tidying, organizing tools, and maintaining a clean workspace.Collect and deliver materials, supplies, and finished items as needed.Follow health and safety procedures, including correct use of PPE and safe handling of paints/chemicals.Carry out general duties to support the team and business operations.⸻Skills & QualitiesWillingness to learn and develop new skills in spray-painting.Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.Team player with a positive attitude.Basic physical fitness (role involves standing, lifting, and carrying).⸻RequirementsNo prior experience required; training will be provided.Interest in spray-painting, coatings, or a related trade.Full driver's license (preferred but not essential).⸻OpportunitiesOn-the-job training with skilled painters.Opportunity to develop into a qualified Spray Painter.Career progression within the production and finishing team.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, ApprenticeshipPay: €27,000.00-€36,000.00 per yearBenefits:On-site parkingSick payWork Location: In person
