Our client are currently seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead film production operations and oversee the introduction of new technology within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role requires strong leadership, technical competence, and adherence to FDA and cGMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage film production processes and new technology implementation.
* Conduct and monitor standard work practices across teams.
* Drive continuous improvement and workplace innovation.
* Oversee production metrics including yield, downtime, quality, and resource utilization.
* Foster a culture of decision-making, teamwork, and accountability.
* Ensure compliance with all quality, safety, and regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP).
* Manage performance reviews, training, and development for team members.
* Oversee attendance, timekeeping, and communication across departments.
* Maintain high Environmental Health & Safety standards.
* Achieve production and budgetary targets.
Requirements:
* 3rd-level qualification, preferably in a technical discipline.
* Proven supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA/cGMP essential; unionized environment preferred).
* Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills.
