IT Recruitment Specialist | Connecting IT Contract Talent with the Right Opportunities
Stelfox is looking for a skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer in Python for one of our clients based in Dublin.
Competitive daily rate
Hybrid, with three days on-site and two days remote each week
Responsibilities:
* Design and implement scalable test automation frameworks.
* Develop and maintain automated tests across UI, backend, and E2E layers.
* Work with Python, Selenium, BDD (Cucumber/Behave), and REST API testing tools.
* Collaborate in Agile teams, promoting TDD and clean, maintainable code.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Bachelor’s/master’s in computer science or related field.
* 5+ years in test automation with strong Python experience.
* Experience with Java-based automation
* Strong understanding of SDLC best practices
* Proficient in tools like Selenium, JUnit, Git, SQL, and CI/CD (Jenkins, OpenShift).
* Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
* ISTQB/ISEB certification
* Languages: Python
* Frameworks: Selenium, BDD (Cucumber/Behave), Hybrid
* API Testing: REST, Postman, Rest Assured
* CI/CD: Jenkins, Ansible, OpenShift
