Medical Device Sales and Business Development Specialist

Our client is a leading B2B Contract Technical Sales, Business Development and Strategic Market Development company in the Medical Technology Sector.

They are seeking a Medical Device Sales and Business Development Specialist to represent their portfolio of Client companies to the B2B medical device network.

The successful candidate will be assigned specific Client companies to which you are responsible to identify new business opportunities and building relationships for our clients in our suppliers to Medtec portfolio.

This person will have a strong background in Medical Device B2B Sales & Business Development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry partners.

• Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.

• Analyse competitor activities and market conditions to inform business strategies.

• Develop and implement strategies for generating leads and expanding the customer base.

• Utilize various channels, including networking, social media, and industry events, to identify potential clients.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop effective sales strategies and proposals.

• Present business proposals to prospective clients, highlighting the value of the offerings.

• Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.

• Close sales and meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets, provide pipeline, meeting and business development reports.

• Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.

• Develop and execute on customer engagement plans for customers within territory and at tradeshows.

• Representing the client company at tradeshows and other networking events.

• Following up on new opportunities as well as quotations that have been submitted to customers.

• Maintain a high level of communication and collaboration with the client companies in the interest of managing expectations and excellent business relations for all.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Engineering, Business Development, Research/Marketing, Sales/Customer Management, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in B2B Medical Device Business Development and Sales.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.

• Proficiency in customer success software and CRM tools (e.g., Hubspot, Gainsight).
