This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturing environment, ideally suited to candidates with experience in food processing—particularly meat or fish production.Role OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of all plant equipment and systems, supporting production through proactive and reactive maintenance activities.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out routine inspections and execute preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipmentDiagnose faults and perform repairs across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsDevelop, implement, and continuously improve preventative maintenance schedulesWork closely with production teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise downtimeMaintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records and documentationConduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and implement effective corrective actionsLiaise with external contractors and service providers for specialised maintenance workEnsure all maintenance activities are carried out in full compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standardsSupport the training and development of junior maintenance personnelUtilise the site CMMS system to manage work orders and maintenance planningStay informed of industry best practices and emerging maintenance technologiesRequirementsProven experience in a maintenance role within an manufacturing processing environment (FMCG experience highly desirable)Strong technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsDemonstrated experience in fault finding, troubleshooting, and equipment repairFamiliarity with CMMS systems and maintenance planning toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenanceStrong communication and teamwork abilities
