This role sits within a key operational site and focuses on financial control and performance support.
Role Responsible for the reporting, control, and forecasting of overhead and operational costs, this position acts as a finance business partner to operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams.
The role focuses on improving cost visibility, supporting decision-making, and identifying efficiency opportunities.
It also includes fixed asset management and supporting cost-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Month-end close for operational cost lines, including accruals, journals, and variance analysis Preparation of monthly cost reports with clear insight into performance Support budgeting and rolling forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities Balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting Cashflow forecasting and cost allocation Business partnering with cross-functional teams and ad hoc analysis Requirements Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Relevant post-qualified experience Strong analytical and communication skills Experience with ERP systems and Excel Ability to work independently and across teams Manufacturing or operational experience beneficial
