At our site in Watergrasshill, Cork, we are actively looking for a Boning Hall Supervisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a team as well as manage and coordinate production within the Boning Hall.
This is a full time, permanent position which will report into the Boning Hall Manager.
Some Key Responsibilities Include:
* Ensure that quality targets are achieved for key customers
* Co-ordinate order processing to ensure that service levels are of the highest standard
* Complete work in the most efficient manner
* Control staff movements within department to ensure accurate work records
* Implement and enforce all Group HR Policies
* Implement and enforce all Group Health and Safety policies
* Minimise waste in relation to packaging
* Participate fully in continuous improvement system
* Maintain good relationships with other functions within the factory and maximise cross-functional workings to deliver the best overall result possible.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
* Quality complaints of key customers
* Service levels of key accounts
* Variable cost of production
* Yields
Requirements
* Must have previous experience supervising a team within a FMCG environment. Meat Industry experience would be beneficial.
* Experience in driving down costs through innovative solutions and a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Ability to work on own initiative.
* Confidence to make on the spot decisions.
