In this rewarding role, you'll be supporting individuals, on a part time basis on a Monday to Friday schedule, in our local New Directions hubs to live full and active lives within their communities. No two days are the same - from creative activities and outings to developing independent living skills and advocating for individuals, you'll be helping each person reach their full potential.

* Knowledge of the New Directions framework.
* Experience supporting people with Autism
* One year experience working in teh area of Intellectual Dissability is desirible
* Openness to providing supports across a variety of activities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good listening skills.

Cheeverstown is a voluntary organisation, regulated by the Health Information & Quality Authority (HIQA).
We provide a wide range of person centred services including residential, respite and day services to almost 400 children and adults with an intellectual disability in the south Dublin area.
Essential Requirements:
* Level 7 Social Care degree or equivilant qualifictaion.
* CORU registration or in the process of registration.
* Minimum 1 year experience working with individuals with Autism
* A full driving licence is a distinct advantage
Please note:
All job offers are subject to two successful references, ongoing Garda Vetting and a satisfactory pre-employment medical.
Salary will be paid as per the HSE consolidated pay scale of Social care worker.
