Job Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to join their team in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, managing costs, resources, and identifying potential risks within projects. This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation and ensures successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the overall procurement cost and resources for the project, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
* Develop procurement strategies, including supplier qualification, selection, price negotiation, and contract drafting.
* Source new suppliers, build a supplier map, and maintain strong relationships with key supplier decision-makers.
* Manage supplier performance, conduct evaluations, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
* Address project-related complaints and work to resolve supplier issues effectively.
Requirements:
* A bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Work, Engineering, Green Energy, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
* Experience in data center construction, civil work, or green energy is advantageous.
* Proficiency in office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Office) and cost analysis.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in spoken and written English.
* Proactive and target-oriented work attitude.
