We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Service Technician to join our growing technical team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, apprentice, or mechanically minded individual looking to build a long-term career in industrial woodworking machinery. Full training will be provided, and you will work alongside experienced technicians to develop your skills in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding.
The Role
As a Junior Technician, you will assist with:
* Installation and commissioning of woodworking machinery
* Routine servicing and preventative maintenance
* Basic fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems
* Preparing and maintaining service documentation
* Supporting senior technicians on customer site visits
* Providing professional and helpful support to customers
* Maintaining tools, equipment, and service vehicles
You will receive hands-on training in CNC systems, automation technology, and modern woodworking equipment.
What We're Looking For
* Qualification (or working towards qualification) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Engineering
* Strong interest in machinery, automation, or technical systems
* Good problem-solving ability
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Good communication skills
* Willingness to travel to customer sites nationwide
* Full driver's licence (or working towards obtaining one)
No Experience? No Problem.
· Previous industry experience is not essential. We are looking for the right attitude, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to develop.
