Choice Hotel is seeking applications for the role of a Maintenance Person in one of it Galway properties. The successful candidate will report directly to The Maintenance Manager and General Manager.
Skills and Experience required:
* Resolve problems as they arise
* Ensure the premises are safe and functional for guests and employees
* Deliver high quality maintenance and painting work.
* Be knowledgeable of all aspects of maintenance operations
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have pride and commitment in your area of work
* Have a strong awareness of health & safety
* Have ability to work on own initiative outside of any work lists
* Possess an excellent problem-solving ability
* To carry out of maintenance tasks, including preventative maintenance routines as per the departmental requirements
* Follow up on all guest requests in relation to maintenance issues
* To ensure repairs are carried out on a timely manner
* To interact with all departments of the hotel
