and manage and optimize our strategic outsourcing relationship with Allianz Services Private Limited (ASPL), part of the global Allianz Group and operating from a variety of locations, including India.
Allianz Services delivers a broad spectrum of best-in-class services to Allianz Ireland and the Allianz Group, including customer service, back-office support, and specialized functions such as Finance and Portfolio Underwriting.

While the main focus of this role is the Allianz Services relationship, you may also be involved in vendor management activities for other high-priority vendors across Allianz Ireland.
The Opportunity
Join Allianz Ireland as a Vendor Manager and manage and optimize our strategic outsourcing relationship with Allianz Services Private Limited (ASPL).
This involves governance, performance oversight, contract negotiation and collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality services and value for Allianz Ireland.
Allianz Services delivers a broad spectrum of best-in-class services to Allianz Ireland and the Allianz Group, including customer service, back-office support, and specialized functions such as Finance and Portfolio Underwriting.
This relationship also provides a unique opportunity to foster innovation at Allianz Ireland by leveraging the expertise and technological advancements shared by Allianz Services.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain a strong, collaborative relationship with Allianz Services to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services and innovation opportunities.
Nurture the relationship and ensure vendor activities deliver Allianz Ireland's strategic goals and operational requirements.
Lead negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements on behalf of senior Allianz Ireland stakeholders, ensuring value for Allianz Ireland while advancing strategic objectives.
This requires close collaboration with Finance, People and Organisation, and the ASPL Allianz Ireland executive management business owner.
Establish robust oversight mechanisms to ensure vendor operations comply with Allianz Ireland's internal policies, procedures, and regulatory framework, with a strong emphasis on the vendor providing assurance of adherence to these standards.
Coordinate oversight of the performance of Allianz Services by conducting evaluations to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain or exceed service levels, and lead improvement initiatives to enhance standards continuously.
Steer change processes in collaboration with process owners and take ownership of order agreements, ensuring best-in-class service and compliance that enhances the partnership.
Monitor costs and ensure financial efficiency by maintaining operations within budgetary constraints while driving value throughout the relationship.
Lead, shape, and support impactful monthly senior stakeholder steering committee meetings to foster collaboration and strategic alignment.
Engage with senior leadership to ensure the achievement of desired outcomes.
Proactively identify potential risks and coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard business interests.
Facilitate Allianz Ireland engagement with relevant Allianz Group best-practice sharing communities.
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience working in the Insurance or Financial Services industry, or in a regulatory environment.
Bachelors degree in a relevant field, or other relevant qualification
Previous people or performance management experience
A strong sense of ownership, learning agility, and a proactive approach
Demonstrated experience working with service providers, in a vendor management context
An understanding of the regulatory landscape, governance frameworks and associated risk management within the financial services industry.
Experience collaborating with teams across various countries, demonstrating adaptability, and experience fostering strong cross-cultural relationships.
Ability to engage with senior stakeholders by delivering updates and preparing presentations when required.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills, coupled with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on insights.
Ability to travel to ASPL sites in the future, if required
