CSA Engineer / Site Engineer – *****
CSA Engineer/Site Engineer required to work for one of Europe's largest Tier 1 Main Contractors on a Data Centre project in Helsinki, Finland.
You will be reporting directly into the sites CSA Lead.
Responsibilities:
QAQC inspections of finished works meet standards required, managing quality of the works set against approved benchmarks.
Coordinate with the QA managers to ensure the correct documentation is submitted in a timely manner by the contractors.
Liaise with sub-contractors on tracking progress against schedule and carry out sub-contractor meetings.
Manage site documentation.
Attend Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Co-ordination and lookahead meetings, as well as Handover Meetings.
Review drawings with design team and effectively solve any issues.
Actively monitor and snag contractors works.
Management of sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensure contractors are protecting finished works, prevent damage at all times, raise observations as required.
Coordinate works ensuring all trades have adequate time, material and resources to complete their works on program.
Manage health and safety, housekeeping material storage, permits etc.
Ensure works is carried out in accordance with the approved MSRA/ RAMS.
Requirements:
BEng in Civil or Structural Engineer or relevant qualification.
4 years+ experience in a similar role.
Experience working on Data Centre projects would be beneficial.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
IT Skills – Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
