Senior Accountant€60,000Permanent, Full-timeCorkThe Senior Accountant will play a key role in delivering strong financial control, management accounts, and timely reporting across a diverse client portfolio. This position offers meaningful client-facing responsibility, supporting businesses through financial insight, mentoring, and advisory support.The role also involves contributing to tax return preparation, overseeing payroll processes, and participating in innovative finance projects, including the development of automated accounting solutions.You will work collaboratively with an experienced finance team to provide efficient, tailored services to clients.Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:Prepare monthly and quarterly management accountsOversee financial control and compliance processesDeliver reporting, benchmarking, and financial analysis for retail clientsLiaise with clients, providing financial advice and mentoringAssist with tax returns and statutory complianceOversee payroll processesContribute to financial process improvements and automation initiativesSkills and Experience of the Senior Accountant:Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, and tax complianceKnowledge of financial controls, auditing, and advisory practicesProficiency with an accounting software.Excellent communication and client relationship management skillsHighly organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlinesDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACA/ACCA/CIMA preferredExperience in retail-focused financial services is beneficialThis is a fantastic opportunity to join this Cork based company.
