The infrastructure office is responsible for leading the development and delivery of the power system and interconnection investment programmes, in collaboration with partners, customers and communities.The customers and connection function prepares and manages contracts for connection and use of the transmission system in Ireland and develops related connection policy as the industry evolves. The team also manages the close collaboration with industry customers and related stakeholders who are key for the achievement of renewable targets, the continuation of sustainable economic growth, supporting security of supply and the transition of decarbonise the Irish power system. The team continually seek opportunities to develop collaborative ways of working with industry to drive better outcomes for all.You'll need to have:Relevant degree or equivalent qualification, typically with 2+ years relevant experience.Broad understanding of the technical and commercial aspects of the power industry.Strong customer and commercial awareness.Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of all project deliverables.Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to work collaboratively across business areas with a proven ability to influence others.Excellent communicator, with the ability to quickly grasp technical and or commercial concepts and articulate these concepts to non-technical audiences and business leaders.Ability to work to deadlines under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.Passionate and engaging with a drive to deliver the EirGrid strategy with and through others.Demonstrated flexible working approach with the ability to lead and prioritise a wide range of demands and activities whilst maintaining a professional and positive focus.Mace is an inclusive employer and welcomes interest from a diverse range of candidates.
