Chef de Partie Wanted for Busy Kitchen
Firgrove Hotel, located in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork, is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join its dynamic kitchen team.
This is a full-time permanent position, requiring 39 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on a designated section of the kitchen during service, ensuring high-quality food production and timely delivery to customers.
* Manage stock levels effectively and contribute to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
* Assist senior chefs, including the head chef, during service periods.
* Cook food to order and prepare dishes according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain flexibility and adaptability when moving between different sections of the kitchen, including larder, pastry, meats, and fish.
To be successful in this role, applicants should have at least two years of chef experience and a strong background in professional cookery, as well as experience working in fast-paced kitchen environments.
