This exciting opportunity involves becoming part of our experienced team in Dublin, where you will receive training and development to unlock your potential for the benefit of both yourself and our clients.Job DescriptionAs a Fund Accounting Assistant Vice President, your responsibilities will encompass managing a portfolio of clients and working collaboratively to meet their unique needs.Serve as main daily client operational contact for a number of clients.Review and approve work valuations with a focus on debt structures and loan portfolios.Review or prepare quarterly management accounts for each structure.Review or prepare capital call and distribution calculations and notices.Review or prepare investors capital statements and relevant calculations.Understand, prepare and review waterfall calculations.Coordinate annual fund audits.Lead or assist in business risk analysis, implementing corrective action plans, process improvements, and technology enhancements.Work on projects / ad hoc tasks as required.Required Qualifications and SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (CFA, CA, or MBA preferred).5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, administration, or related financial services roles.Experience in private debt and alternative funds focused on lending and fund structures would be a distinct advantage.Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage complex data sets.Demonstrated experience in change management, project leadership, and staff training.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and stakeholder management abilities.This position is central to the effective management of investment funds specializing in loans, blending standard fund accounting responsibilities with specialized loan portfolio and transaction knowledge.At Alchelyst, we not only recognise and value our staff, offering standard benefits such as health insurance, a pension, and a competitive market salary, but we also prioritize a genuine and supportive working environment.
