Key Role in Payroll Processing
The Payroll Specialist plays a pivotal part in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for diverse workforces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process weekly payrolls in compliance with Irish tax and employment legislation, adhering to precise schedules and deadlines.
* Respond to employee queries regarding payslips, deductions, and entitlements, providing clear explanations and concise information.
* Maintain accurate payroll data in HR systems, reconcile time & attendance records, and address discrepancies promptly.
* Collaborate closely with HR teams to ensure seamless data integration and maintain optimal operational efficiency.
* Manage payroll changes for new hires, leavers, and contract updates, effecting timely adjustments and communicating relevant details.
* Submit accurate Revenue returns (PAYE Modernisation, PRSI, USC) and ensure full statutory compliance, minimizing potential risks and liabilities.
* Prepare comprehensive monthly payroll reports and provide essential support for audits and year-end processes, maintaining transparency and accuracy.
* Stay abreast of legislative updates and implement necessary changes, ensuring ongoing compliance and adherence to evolving regulations.
* Protect confidential payroll records in accordance with GDPR principles, upholding strict confidentiality and discretion.
* Offer backup support for Finance team members as required, demonstrating adaptability and a willingness to contribute across departments.
