Job Description Summary
RTR Electronics Ltd are seeking a Soldering Operator to join our rapid growing team. The role will involve SMT and PTH soldering.
Responsibilities:
* Soldering SMT and PTH parts.
* Perform first article approvals.
* Inspect solder joint and component mounting using the naked eye and/or magnification.
* Placing SMT components on PCB's for reflow.
* Rework of SMT and PTH parts.
* Ensure the right components are used in production.
* Check the conformity of products by performing basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions.
* Read BOM's and have good Knowledge of component identification.
* Implement identified improvements.
Requirements:
* IPC certification in Soldering and rework .
* Good knowledge of component packages.
* At least 2 years experience in surface mount soldering
* Great attention to detail.
* High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate optimally with management and colleagues.
* Team-player, proactive, committed to providing high-quality work able to operate various automated assembly equipment.
* Good PC skills in Excel, Word, Outlook and PC Layout
* Use inspection & measurement equipment (such as 10x lamps, 7x-30x microscopes, X-Ray to monitor quality levels.
* Ensure work area is neat, clean and in a safe condition always.
