Financial Analyst -
Cavan (Office-Based, 5 Days Per Week)

In partnership with our client, a leading engineering client based in County Cavan, Glantech staffing are currently seeking applications for the position of Financial Analyst.
This role will play a key part in analysing financial data, preparing insightful reports, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group Financial Controller and other senior stakeholders to provide high-quality analysis that drives performance and supports growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse
financial performance
, identifying trends, variances, and key drivers.
* Prepare and present
management reports, KPIs, and dashboards
for senior management.
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing accurate data and variance analysis.
* Assist in the preparation of
business cases
and investment appraisals.
* Develop and maintain
financial models
to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Partner with department heads to monitor sales, costs, margins, and profitability.
* Provide data and analysis to support tenders, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
* Ensure data integrity within financial systems and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
* Degree in
Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
.
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified with strong analytical skills.
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, industrial services, or multi-site environment.
* Strong
Microsoft Excel
and data analysis skills; experience with BI tools is an advantage.
* Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems (Salesforce experience highly desirable).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
