This position would suit a customer-focused individual with relevant experience in big-box retail management and a passion for the retail industry.
Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day operations of the store
Achieving sales targets and KPIs
Strong organisational skills
Deliver excellent customer service
Managing a team and training staff to reach maximum performance
Buying and stock management
Marketing, promotions and store development
Promote a harmonious atmosphere for our customers, team and suppliers
Maintain team by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
Manage housekeeping to expected standards
Take ownership of performance in line with company expectations
Ensure productivity improvements are supported by attending all company training
Ensure that procedures and legal requirements regarding health, safety, hygiene, and security are adhered to, and that all necessary procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy and relevant legal requirements
Proactive use of the employee relations procedure within the company's disciplinary and grievance procedures
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends
Ideal Qualifications
Previous management experience in retail
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Good people management skills
Committed to a high standard of integrity
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ambition to progress a career in a growing company
Excellent customer service skills and building good relationships with customers, team and suppliers
Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is required
The ideal candidate will be ambitious and target-driven

Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends
May be asked to manage one of the other stores
