Opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor, Co. Tyrone. Our Group of Companies includes a Formwork & Concrete Contracting business, a Rental business, and a Manufacturing business with operations based in Dungannon. We are on the lookout for a Junior QS to join our commercial team and assist senior management on projects. In this role, you will take on a number of small to large scale projects within N. Ireland, ROI & Scotland. We do a lot of commercial projects within the public and private sector.
Responsibilities
1. Preparing, negotiating, and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
2. Procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of sub-contractor order documentation
3. Assessing and certification of sub-contractor interim payments
4. Preparation of interim valuations and final account
5. Managing and valuing variations
6. Assist in the production of pre-contract take-off, interim valuation, and final account
7. Tracking design changes as a project evolves
8. Production of monthly Cost Value Reconciliation on contracts
9. Establish, maintain and enhance effective working relationships with subcontractors and site staff
10. Plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by teams, individuals, and yourself
11. Attend site meetings when required
