Senior Systems Configurator, SAP Functional Analyst
As an SAP Functional Analyst, you will design, configure, and support SAP solutions to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, implement scalable SAP processes, and ensure solutions align with industry best practices. Your focus will be on optimizing business operations, supporting SAP modules, and driving process improvements through automation and standardization.
Responsibilities
Lead SAP configuration and solution design for core business processes such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and related workflows.
Manage order processing, billing, invoicing, and claims within SAP.
Oversee financial postings, cost allocations, and supplier collaboration.
Support logistics, inventory control, warehouse management, and goods movement processes.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver SAP solutions.
Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of SAP enhancements and new functionalities.
Support integration of SAP with external systems (e.g., supplier portals, EDI platforms, automation tools).
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Participate in SAP upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
Apply standard SAP functionality to meet business needs, minimizing custom development.
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in SAP solution delivery.
Adhere to organizational IT standards, security protocols, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology) or equivalent experience.
Several years of hands‑on SAP experience, including configuration of relevant modules (e.g., SD, FI‑CO, MM, WM, EWM, SRM).
Strong understanding of SAP principles and extensibility approaches.
Proven ability to deliver upgrade‑safe, cloud‑compliant SAP solutions.
Solid business process knowledge in areas such as Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Warehousing, and Master Data.
Experience supporting integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
Familiarity with software testing, automation, and quality assurance practices.
Ability to debug and analyze SAP systems, preferably with some ABAP knowledge.
Commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
SAP certification in relevant modules.
Experience with SAP Automotive Suite or similar industry solutions.
Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, and cloud‑based SAP integrations.
Experience working with manufacturers, suppliers, or service providers.
Hybrid
This role is hybrid. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Limerick office at least three times per week.
