We are currently recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team based in Rosbrien, Limerick. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established multidisciplinary team supporting children and adolescents with a range of mental health needs. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Occupational Therapist: Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions for children and young people within CAMHS Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, and other allied health professionals Develop, implement, and review individualised intervention plans Support service users in areas such as emotional regulation, daily living skills, and social participation Engage with families, carers, schools, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to care Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional standards Requirements for the Senior Occupational Therapist: Degree or MSc in Occupational Therapy CORU registration essential Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, with relevant senior experience preferred Experience working in mental health, ideally within CAMHS or with children and adolescents Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills Full drivers licence and access to own transport Desirable Experience delivering group interventions Training in sensory integration or CBT-informed approaches Previous experience within the HSE or similar setting Whats on Offer Competitive HSE-aligned salary Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a specialist CAMHS setting Supportive and collaborative team environment Ongoing professional development opportunities Contact Us: If you or someone you know is interested in this position, please send a copy of your CV to If you refer a candidate to us who is successfully hired, we can offer you a €150 thank you bonus!
