Part-Qualified Accountant
My client are seeking a motivated and ambitious Part-Qualified Accountant to join a growing finance team based in Galway. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual who wants to progress their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts and journal entries.
* Support with revenue recognition, accruals, and balance sheet control.
* Manage debtor reconciliations, sales and purchase ledgers, and financial reporting.
* Assist with audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
* Provide insights through financial analysis and recommend process improvements.
* Support ad hoc finance projects and cross-functional initiatives.
* Collaborate with wider teams to ensure alignment of processes.
About You:
* Part-Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
* 2-3 years\' experience in industry or practice.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proficient in Excel and financial systems (ERP experience an advantage).
* Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute to a fast-paced finance team.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
* Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
* Commercially aware with a proactive mindset.
