Job Overview
The Software Replication Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless replication of software modules across various platforms. This position requires an individual with expertise in source code management, database comparison tools, and software replication techniques.
Key Responsibilities
* Replicate DeltaV design documentation in compliance with project schedule and Automation VP requirements.
* Coordinate software development and testing activities with System Integrator resources.
* Manage code deployment to production systems for relevant areas, minimizing disruptions to planned site activities.
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:
* At least five years of automation experience in the Pharma or Biotech industry.
* Detailed knowledge of DeltaV software file structure, parameter configuration, and S88 principles.
* Experience with Source Code Management tools (e.g., Git / GitHub) and database comparison tools.
* Good understanding of Computer System Validation life cycle.
* Familiarity with regulated processes and bio-pharma environments.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas will be preferred:
* Upstream, Downstream, or Utilities.
* Kneat documentation management system.
* Siemens PLC.
Personal Qualities
The ideal candidate should possess excellent reporting and communication skills, flexibility to travel for FAT's, and demonstrated project team experience on large projects.
