Job Title: Field Service Engineer. Location: Leixlip, Co. Kildare. Our client,a global player inprovidingsemiconductor production equipmentsystems,are seekingThree Field Service Engineers / FSE's to join their growing team, onsite at their new facility in Kildare. Reporting to the senior engineer, you willbe responsible forprovidingfield service engineering activities to thecompanys customers on-site.This position troubleshoots more complicated products andproblems.As a Field ServiceEngineer,you will be customer-facing, on-site,and ensure all products/equipmentaremaintained. Key Responsibilities Include: Managingservice calls and determiningcustomerneedsorproblems, and responding accordingly. Providingover-the-phone consultation and advice to the customer, may need to respond to emergency customer situation or may need to schedule and repair the Companys products at the customer's site. Performingpreventativemaintenance on Company products. Establishing and managing a local maintenance service structure. Inspecting and evaluating customer usage of Company products. Providingtraining to customers in the usage and maintenance of Company products. Providingapplication support on the Company's products to customers. Liaising between the customer and the applications programmer for customer requests involving changes in applications. Ability to researchmarket needs and customer applications of Company products. Submitting application reports to managementin a timely manner. Supporting sales activities and establishing andmaintaininggoodrelationshipswith customers. Providingtraining to other Company field service engineers as needed. Submitting various reports, such as service reports, weeklyreports, and expensereportsto managementon time. Responsible formaintainingcompany parts and toolsand ensuring downtimes are at a minimum. Effectively communicatingwith headofficeengineersregardingproduct applications and technical issues. Maintaininghigh ethical standards in theworkplaceandcomplying withall company policies andprocedures. Qualifying Criteria: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering. Ideally 2-5 years of experience working as an FSE in the Semiconductor Industry (New graduates with internship experience would also be considered). Experience / Exposure to Lithography, Optics, Plasma, Laser, robotics, is highly preferred. Experience in troubleshooting/repair of optics/laser, and any mechanical under vacuum environment experience. Eligibility to travel overseas on occasion. Experience withHand tools, electronic diagnostic equipment, test fixtures equipment. Efficient use of office equipmentandSoftware includes the use of Windows operating system & MS Office.
