What does being a Senior Engineer involve? Site Supervision & Quality Control: Oversee site works to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards, including pre- and post-pour checks and immediate reporting of substandard work. Setting Out & Programme Management: Carry out or assist with setting out, prepare fortnightly work programmes, and ensure all activities align with project timelines and requirements. Material & Resource Coordination: Ensure timely procurement of materials and availability of resources to execute works efficiently and avoid delays. Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate site records including personnel, progress, delays, and quality control documentation. Health, Safety & ISO Compliance: Adhere to company health & safety protocols, ISO requirements, and safe operating procedures at all times. Stakeholder & Team Collaboration: Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and site management to obtain necessary information, coordinate works, and ensure smooth communication across all project stakeholders. Experience: You should hold an Engineering Degree. You should have at least 3-4 years relevant experience on medium to large building projects.
