The role
Role: Part Qualified Accountant
Location: Dublin 12
Salary: €40-45k
We are looking for a part qualified accountant for one of our clients based in Dublin 12. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate currently pursuing a professional accounting qualification to further develop their technical and commercial accounting skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Prepare counts to balance.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable functions.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts.
Assist with cash collection and credit control activities.
Process invoices and payment runs where required.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
Assist with accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
Requirements
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and SAP
ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified
2+ years’ experience in an accounting or finance role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication skills
