Project Manager – Water Infrastructure
A Project Manager is required by a leading civil and utilities contractor to oversee major water infrastructure projects across the Greater Dublin Area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead high‑profile water and wastewater schemes, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The projects involve the delivery of water main replacements, large‑diameter pipelines, and wastewater network upgrades, forming part of national programmes to improve water supply reliability, reduce leakage, and enhance operational performance.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage water infrastructure projects from inception through to completion.
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
* Manage budgets, procurement, and subcontractor performance.
* Monitor progress and ensure compliance with design, quality, Health & Safety, and environmental standards.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, utility providers, and local authorities.
* Prepare project reports, progress updates, and risk assessments.
* Provide leadership and support to site teams, ensuring smooth communication and effective delivery.
* Identify and resolve project issues proactively, maintaining programme and cost control.
Qualifications
* Degree‑qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in project management, preferably in water infrastructure or utilities projects.
* Proven experience managing large‑scale water main, pipeline, and wastewater projects.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, QA/QC, and environmental compliance.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software, and reporting tools.
* Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the Greater Dublin Area.
* Competitive salary €85k–€100k depending on experience.
