Job Title: Accounting Professional
We are seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide ongoing bookkeeping services for a portfolio of clients.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintenance of ongoing financial records and accounts for clients
* Preparation of financial statements to Trial Balance level
* Preparing tax returns and managing related compliance requirements
* Providing exceptional customer service and responding to client queries in a timely manner
* Effective management of debtor and credit control processes
* Performing ad hoc tasks and responsibilities as required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Must have relevant accounting experience gained in a small/medium practice environment
* A minimum of 2-3 years of experience working in an Irish accounting practice is preferred
* Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to build strong relationships with clients and provide excellent interpersonal skills
* Highly organized with strong time management skills to meet deadlines
* Self-motivated and proactive in identifying areas for process improvement
* Excellent team player with the ability to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative work environment
* Ongoing commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with industry developments
* Proficiency in using accounting software packages, such as Excel and Sage
