Advanced Pharmacist Specialist - Haematology Oncology Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this post is to lead on the provision of a high-quality comprehensive service to your area of responsibility by promoting the best clinical, safe, and cost-effective use of medicines, resulting in safer and better outcomes for patients.
Demonstrate professional leadership within the designated clinical area through effective communication with other clinical practitioners, motivation of staff and challenging barriers to change.
Essential Criteria: A Pharmacist registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or be entitled to be so registered.
Have at least four (4) years post registration hospital experience.
Possess the requisite specialised knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the role.
Previous experience of working within Cancer specialties at a senior level.
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development and role specific learning.
